Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Geographic Information System / GIS professional with 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree to join our dynamic gaming company in Pune. You will be instrumental in leveraging GIS data and tools to enhance game development, player engagement, and strategic decision-making within our gaming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain spatial databases and GIS models relevant to game environments and player analytics.

Analyze geographic data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform game design, level creation, and virtual world development.

Create thematic maps, visualizations, and reports to communicate spatial findings to cross-functional teams, including game designers and product managers.

Integrate GIS functionalities into game development pipelines, potentially through scripting or API development.

Collaborate with game developers to ensure accurate and efficient use of spatial data in game engines.

Perform spatial analysis for player behavior, virtual economy, and in-game events to optimize player experience and monetization strategies.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in GIS technology and their potential applications in the gaming industry.
