Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Geoscientist Manager to lead our team in analyzing geological data for financial risk assessment and investment opportunities within the natural resources sector. This role requires a strong understanding of geological principles combined with financial acumen to interpret complex datasets and provide strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of geoscientists, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Oversee the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of geological and geophysical data for various projects.
- Develop and implement advanced analytical models to assess geological risks and potential resource values.
- Collaborate with investment banking and portfolio management teams to identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the energy and mining sectors.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and clients.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geoscience technologies and methodologies, and their application in financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
