Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geoscientist Manager with 2-3 years of experience and a B.Des degree to join our team in Kochi. This role will focus on the geological aspects related to the sourcing and sustainability of raw materials used in our luxury leather products. The ideal candidate will leverage their design thinking and geological understanding to contribute to product development and supply chain integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological assessments of raw material sourcing regions to ensure sustainability and ethical practices.
- Analyze geological data to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to translate geological insights into material selection and product development.
- Develop and implement strategies for responsible sourcing of leather and associated materials, considering geological impact.
- Prepare reports and presentations on geological findings and recommendations for management.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations in sustainable material sourcing and geological science.
