Geotechnical Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our expanding infrastructure development team. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all geotechnical aspects of our new beverage manufacturing and distribution facilities across India. This role requires a deep understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigation techniques to ensure the structural integrity and safety of our projects. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site investigations, including soil borings, sampling, and laboratory testing, to assess subsurface conditions.
- Analyze soil and rock properties to determine foundation requirements and potential geological hazards.
- Design and specify appropriate foundation systems (e.g., shallow and deep foundations) for various structures.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including recommendations for earthworks, slope stability, and groundwater control.
- Oversee the execution of geotechnical works during construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical findings into project designs.
- Perform seismic hazard analysis and design for earthquake-resistant structures.
- Monitor and assess the performance of existing structures and foundations.
- Manage external geotechnical consultants and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Indian building codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
