Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geriatrician with a strong legal background (LLB) to join our team in Bangalore. This unique role requires an individual who can bridge the gap between healthcare insights and IT service delivery, focusing on developing and implementing solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the geriatric population. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience, demonstrating a keen understanding of both geriatric care principles and legal frameworks relevant to healthcare technology and compliance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our IT solutions are not only innovative but also ethically sound and legally compliant, particularly concerning the elderly demographic.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, engineers, legal counsel) to define and develop IT solutions for the geriatric healthcare sector.
- Conduct thorough research on legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to elder care technology, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if applicable in specific projects), and accessibility standards.
- Provide expert insights into the specific healthcare needs, challenges, and preferences of geriatric individuals to inform product development.
- Review and analyze legal documentation, contracts, and compliance policies related to healthcare IT projects involving senior citizens.
- Advise on ethical considerations and best practices for technology deployment in geriatric care settings.
- Assist in the creation of user training materials and support documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for both healthcare professionals and elderly users.
- Stay abreast of advancements in geriatric medicine, healthcare technology, and relevant legal precedents.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to mitigation strategies for legal and ethical challenges in healthcare IT projects.
