Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hand/Neck Surgeon to join our team. This role will be crucial in ensuring the well-being of our artists, performers, and event staff, particularly those involved in physically demanding aspects of live entertainment. The surgeon will provide expert medical care, injury prevention strategies, and rehabilitation services tailored to the unique needs of individuals in the events and live entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat a wide range of hand and neck conditions, including trauma, overuse injuries, and degenerative diseases.
Perform surgical procedures on the hand and neck as indicated, utilizing advanced surgical techniques.
Develop and implement comprehensive pre-event screening protocols to identify potential risks for performers.
Provide immediate medical attention and ongoing care for acute injuries sustained during performances or rehearsals.
Collaborate with physiotherapists, trainers, and event organizers to create tailored rehabilitation and injury prevention programs.
Educate performers and staff on proper techniques, ergonomics, and injury management to minimize risks.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in hand and neck surgery and sports medicine.
