Harbour Master

Role Summary: The Harbour Master will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally sound management of port operations and maritime traffic within the company's designated operational areas. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, optimizing resource allocation and maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all maritime operations within the company's port facilities and associated waters.

Develop and implement port safety and security plans, ensuring compliance with national and international maritime regulations.

Control and coordinate vessel movements, pilotage, and berthing operations.

Manage port resources, including personnel, equipment, and infrastructure, to ensure efficient operations.

Respond to and manage emergencies, such as accidents, pollution incidents, or security threats.

Conduct regular inspections of port facilities, vessels, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.

Liaise with relevant authorities, including maritime administrations, port authorities, and emergency services.

Maintain accurate records of port activities, incidents, and operational data.

Promote a strong safety culture among all port personnel and stakeholders.
