Harbour Master

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Harbour Master to oversee and manage port operations within our Vadodara facility. The Harbour Master will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of vessels and cargo, coordinating with various stakeholders, and maintaining operational readiness. This role is ideal for a Diploma holder with 1-6 years of experience in maritime operations or logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all vessel arrivals, departures, and movements within the port limits.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and port authority guidelines.
- Manage and allocate berths and anchorages efficiently.
- Oversee cargo operations, ensuring timely and safe loading and unloading.
- Liaise with shipping agents, customs officials, pilots, and other relevant authorities.
- Maintain port infrastructure and equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of port activities, vessel movements, and cargo statistics.
- Assist in the training and supervision of port staff.
