Harbour Master

Role Summary: The Harbour Master will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and secure operation of the company's port facilities and maritime activities. This role requires a deep understanding of maritime regulations, port management, and emergency response procedures, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all vessel traffic within the port limits, ensuring safe navigation and efficient turnaround.
- Develop and implement port operating procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response plans.
- Manage and coordinate port resources, including personnel, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with all national and international maritime laws, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of port facilities, vessels, and equipment to identify and mitigate risks.
- Liaise with shipping companies, port authorities, customs, and other stakeholders.
- Manage pilotage, towage, and berthing operations.
- Respond to and manage maritime incidents, accidents, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of port activities, vessel movements, and cargo operations.
- Contribute to the financial management of port operations, including budgeting and cost control.
