Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Harbour Master to oversee and manage aviation operations at our Chandigarh facility. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant movement of aircraft and related ground operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation regulations, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex logistical challenges within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational procedures for aircraft parking, taxiing, and gate assignments.

Ensure compliance with all national and international aviation safety regulations and standards.

Coordinate with air traffic control, ground handling staff, and airline operations to ensure smooth aircraft turnaround.

Manage and optimize the use of airport apron and gate resources.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the operational areas.

Respond to and manage operational disruptions and emergencies.

Maintain accurate records of aircraft movements and operational activities.

Train and mentor junior staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
