Hardware Engineer - Automation & Instrumentation

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team within the Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of hardware systems used in automation, instrumentation, and manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of electronic circuits, embedded systems, and industrial control hardware, with a focus on ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom hardware solutions for process automation, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Select and integrate components such as sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, PLCs, and communication modules.
• Create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using CAD software.
• Perform hardware testing, debugging, and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with software engineers to develop firmware and integrate hardware with control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in manufacturing and R&D environments.
• Ensure hardware designs comply with industry standards (e.g., GMP, GAMP) and safety regulations.
• Maintain documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
