Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineering Manager with a Bachelor of Science degree to lead our hardware engineering team in Chennai. This role is crucial for the design, development, and validation of innovative hardware solutions for the power industry. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 6 years of progressive experience in hardware engineering, with a proven track record of managing projects from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, including schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, prototyping, and testing.
- Define hardware requirements and specifications based on product needs and industry standards.
- Drive innovation in hardware design, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness for power applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing) to ensure seamless product integration.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues during development and post-production.
- Stay abreast of the latest hardware technologies and trends relevant to the power sector.
