Role Summary:
Hindustan Unilever Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Hardware Installation & Maintenance professional to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various hardware systems and infrastructure across our facilities. This role requires a strong technical background and a proactive approach to ensuring optimal hardware performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and deploy new hardware components, including servers, workstations, networking devices, and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on existing hardware to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct regular hardware inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
- Manage hardware inventory, tracking assets, and ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to procure, install, and maintain hardware.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices for hardware management.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware-related queries and issues.
- Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and trends relevant to the building material industry.
