Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Installation & Maintenance professional with 2-3 years of experience and an M.Tech degree to join our IT infrastructure team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware components within our insurance operations, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and deploy new hardware, including servers, workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on existing hardware to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues, including diagnosing faults and implementing solutions.
- Manage hardware inventory and asset tracking.
- Ensure all hardware installations comply with company policies and security standards.
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware-related problems.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement, support, and warranty claims.
- Document hardware configurations, maintenance procedures, and incident reports.
- Stay updated with the latest hardware technologies and industry best practices.
