Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hardware Installation & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of computer hardware, peripherals, and network infrastructure across our various operational sites in India. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our technological resources, which are vital for delivering our educational programs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on hardware to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related problems, including component failures, connectivity issues, and performance degradation.
Set up and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and access points.
Manage inventory of hardware assets, including tracking installations, repairs, and disposals.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding hardware usage and basic troubleshooting.
Document hardware configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaborate with IT team members on larger projects and infrastructure upgrades.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
