Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hardware Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of hardware platforms that support our advanced manufacturing and operational systems within the Iron & Steel industry. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded systems, circuit design, and system architecture, with a focus on reliability and performance in industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom hardware solutions for industrial automation and control systems.
- Select and integrate off-the-shelf hardware components (processors, memory, peripherals, sensors).
- Develop and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of new platforms.
- Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of hardware systems.
- Develop and execute hardware test plans and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues in production environments.
- Stay abreast of new hardware technologies and industry trends relevant to the steel industry.
- Document hardware designs, test results, and manufacturing processes.
