Hardware Platform Engineer

Role Summary:
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of hardware platforms for advanced aerospace and defence systems. This role requires a strong understanding of embedded systems, circuit design, and system-level integration within a complex engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hardware architectures for new aerospace and defence platforms.
- Select and integrate key hardware components, including microprocessors, FPGAs, memory, and peripherals.
- Develop and execute hardware test plans and procedures for validation and verification.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Perform circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout review.
- Analyze and troubleshoot hardware issues encountered during development and testing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-254, MIL-STD).
- Document hardware designs, test results, and technical specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
