Hardware Reliability Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hardware Reliability Engineer to join our growing team in India. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, durability, and performance of our hardware products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive reliability test plans and protocols for new and existing hardware products.

Analyze test results, identify failure mechanisms, and recommend design or process improvements.

Conduct failure analysis (FA) on returned products and components.

Utilize statistical methods and tools (e.g., Weibull analysis) to predict product lifetime and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Hardware Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing) to define reliability requirements and targets.

Develop and maintain reliability databases and reports.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standards, and best practices in hardware reliability engineering.

Participate in design reviews to ensure reliability considerations are addressed early in the product development cycle.
