Hardware Research Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Hardware Research Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing cutting-edge hardware solutions for railway signaling, communication, and control systems. This role involves hands-on prototyping, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new technologies from concept to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on emerging hardware technologies relevant to the railway industry, including embedded systems, IoT, sensor networks, and power electronics.
• Design and develop new hardware components and systems, including schematics, PCB layouts, and firmware integration.
• Build and test prototypes, perform rigorous validation and verification, and analyze performance data.
• Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and product managers to define hardware requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide technical support during product development and deployment phases.
• Stay abreast of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape in railway hardware.
• Contribute to technical documentation, research papers, and patent applications.
