Role Summary:
PwC India is seeking an experienced and strategic Head - Data Base to lead our data management and database operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of all database systems, ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance to support our business objectives in the legal services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall data strategy and architecture for the organization.
- Manage and lead a team of database administrators and engineers.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure database solutions.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery for all database systems.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, standards, and security protocols.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships for database-related software and services.
- Stay abreast of emerging database technologies and trends.
