Head - Data Base

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head - Data Base to lead our database operations and strategy. This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of our database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability. You will lead a team of database administrators and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of database systems, including design, development, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Define and implement database architecture, standards, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of DBAs and database engineers, providing technical guidance and performance management.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and availability of all production databases.
- Develop and execute robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and query optimization.
- Manage database capacity planning and resource allocation.
- Stay abreast of emerging database technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential adoption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in a timely manner.
- Manage vendor relationships for database-related software and services.
