Head - Data Science

Role Summary: We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Data Science to lead our data science initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making across Tata Motors. This role will be instrumental in shaping our future strategy by leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to optimize operations, enhance product development, and improve customer experiences within the automotive domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive data science strategy aligned with business objectives.

Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, data engineers, and analysts.

Identify opportunities to apply data science and AI/ML techniques to solve complex business problems in areas such as vehicle design, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and after-sales service.

Oversee the end-to-end development and deployment of predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data-driven solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, marketing, and IT, to integrate data science insights into business processes.

Establish best practices for data governance, data quality, and model validation.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, AI, and machine learning, and evaluate their potential application within the automotive industry.

Communicate complex findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
