Role Summary:
We are looking for a visionary Head - Engineering to lead our technology initiatives at MakeMyTrip. Based in Bangalore, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our travel platform by leading a talented team of engineers. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership acumen to drive innovation and ensure the delivery of world-class travel solutions. You will be responsible for the overall engineering strategy, execution, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for the engineering department, ensuring alignment with MakeMyTrip's strategic goals.
- Architect and oversee the development of scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems that power our travel offerings.
- Champion best practices in software development, including CI/CD, test automation, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product management, design, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the stability and security of our platform.
- Attract, onboard, and retain top engineering talent, building a strong and diverse team.
