Head - Engineering

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Engineering to lead our product development and engineering teams. This role is critical in driving innovation, ensuring product quality, and scaling our engineering capabilities to meet the demands of a rapidly growing consumer electronics and appliances startup. You will be responsible for the overall technical strategy, execution, and delivery of our product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the company's engineering strategy, aligning with business objectives and product roadmap.
2. Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of hardware, software, and firmware engineers.
3. Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design to prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and launch.
4. Establish and maintain robust engineering processes, standards, and best practices for quality, reliability, and efficiency.
5. Drive innovation in product design and technology, exploring new materials, components, and manufacturing techniques.
6. Collaborate closely with Product Management, Design, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery.
7. Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
