Head - Facilities

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Facilities to oversee the management and maintenance of all our facilities at Gennova Biopharmaceuticals. This role is crucial for ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment that supports our cutting-edge biotechnology operations. The Head of Facilities will be responsible for strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership within the facilities department.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies aligned with the company's growth and operational needs.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, repairs, housekeeping, security, and groundskeeping.
* Manage budgets for facilities operations, capital expenditures, and maintenance projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., GMP, GLP, local building codes).
* Lead and mentor the facilities team, fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
* Plan and manage space utilization, office moves, and office layout redesigns.
* Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management for all outsourced facilities services.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment.
* Manage emergency preparedness and business continuity plans for facilities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Manufacturing, and HR, to support their facilities-related requirements.
* Identify and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
* Manage asset management and inventory for facilities-related equipment and supplies.
