Head - Finance & Accounts

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance & Accounts to lead our finance and accounting operations for our foreign multinational banking division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, treasury management, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of international banking regulations and a proven track record of managing complex financial operations in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
• Manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Lead treasury operations, including cash management, foreign exchange, and investment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience in the banking sector, with a strong understanding of international banking operations and regulations.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and treasury management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
