Head - Finance & Accounts

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head - Finance & Accounts to lead our finance and accounting functions. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency for Zomato's extensive urban transport and food delivery operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cost accounting.

Develop and manage the annual budget and monthly forecasts.

Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and management reports to senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking partners.

Drive financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, business growth, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Optimize cash flow management and working capital.
