Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Hardware Engineering to lead our hardware development initiatives. This role will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electronic components and semiconductor-based hardware solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry landscape in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of hardware engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Define and execute the hardware engineering roadmap, aligning with company strategic objectives.
- Oversee the entire hardware development lifecycle, from concept and architecture to design, verification, prototyping, and production.
- Drive the design and development of complex integrated circuits (ICs), system-on-chips (SoCs), and other semiconductor-based hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, software engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product delivery.
- Establish and enforce rigorous design, verification, and testing methodologies to ensure high-quality and reliable hardware.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in hardware engineering and the semiconductor industry.
