Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Head - Hardware Engineering with 1-3 years of experience and a BBA/BBM degree to join our dynamic team in Thane. This role is crucial for overseeing and optimizing the hardware components and procurement processes within our leather goods manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with a foundational understanding of business operations and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the procurement of all hardware components required for leather product manufacturing, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and contracts to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of hardware components and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to understand hardware requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Analyze hardware costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all hardware-related activities.
- Generate regular reports on hardware procurement, inventory, and cost analysis for management review.
- Support the implementation of new hardware technologies and solutions to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
