Head - HR

Role Summary: The Head - HR will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions for Pratham Education Foundation, aligning HR strategies with the organization's mission and operational needs. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of labor laws and employee relations, particularly within the non-profit sector in India. The ideal candidate will leverage their legal background to ensure compliance, foster a positive work environment, and support the growth and development of our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures in compliance with Indian labor laws.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, with a focus on attracting talent aligned with Pratham's values.
• Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, providing legal guidance and ensuring fair practices.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
• Develop and execute performance management systems to foster employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and maintain accurate HR records.
• Provide legal counsel and support on HR-related matters, including contract drafting and review.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
