Role Summary:
Biocon Limited is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead and manage all aspects of the HR function for its operations in India. The Head - HR will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and driving talent management initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a large, global biotechnology organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with Biocon's business goals and growth objectives.
- Oversee all HR operations including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, HRIS, and learning & development.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent management initiatives, including succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian labor laws and regulations, and maintain high ethical standards.
- Partner with senior leadership to address organizational challenges and implement effective HR solutions.
- Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of HR services.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives across the organization.
