Head - Information Security

Role Summary:
GE is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Information Security to lead and oversee all aspects of the company's information security program. This role is critical in protecting GE's digital assets, intellectual property, and operational technology (OT) environments from cyber threats. The Head of Information Security will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security strategy, managing security operations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust information security strategy aligned with GE's business objectives and risk appetite.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of security controls across IT and OT environments, including network security, endpoint security, data loss prevention, and access management.
- Lead and mentor the information security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
- Establish and manage security monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and internal policies.
- Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and service providers.
- Drive the development and implementation of security awareness training programs for all employees.
- Advise senior leadership on emerging security threats, trends, and best practices.
