Head - Logistics / SCM

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management to oversee all aspects of our logistics operations within the film and entertainment sector. This role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of film equipment, sets, costumes, and other production-related materials across various locations in India and internationally. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex supply chains, optimizing costs, and mitigating risks associated with a dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies aligned with YRF's production schedules and distribution needs.

Manage end-to-end logistics for film productions, including transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery of assets.

Optimize inventory management for production materials, ensuring availability while minimizing holding costs.

Negotiate and manage contracts with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and other vendors.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service levels.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation laws, customs requirements, and safety standards.

Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain.

Collaborate closely with production, finance, and legal departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics into overall project planning.

Lead and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
