Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Media Relations to lead our media engagement strategies in India. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing a proactive media relations program that enhances Infosys' brand reputation, supports business objectives, and positions us as a thought leader in the digital services and consulting space. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Indian media landscape and a proven track record of managing corporate communications and crisis communications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive media relations strategies aligned with company goals and brand messaging.
2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, journalists, and influencers across national and regional Indian media outlets.
3. Proactively identify media opportunities and craft compelling narratives, press releases, and media kits.
4. Manage media inquiries, interviews, and press conferences, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging.
5. Develop and execute crisis communication plans, acting as a key point of contact during sensitive situations.
6. Monitor media coverage, analyze trends, and report on the effectiveness of media relations efforts.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and leadership teams, to ensure integrated communication strategies.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging media platforms relevant to the design and technology sectors.
