Head - Network Operations

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head - Network Operations to lead our network infrastructure and operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a B.Sc. degree, and a proven track record in managing complex network environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network, supporting our growing printing and publishing operations. You will be responsible for the overall strategy, planning, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across all our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive network operations strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points.
- Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and robust security of the network infrastructure.
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Manage network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for network services and equipment.
- Develop and manage the network operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure integrated and efficient IT operations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
