Head - Network Operations

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Network Operations to lead and manage our comprehensive network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our corporate and operational networks, supporting our extensive industrial equipment manufacturing and distribution operations across India. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network architecture, routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud networking, with a proven track record in managing large-scale network environments and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's global and local area networks (LAN/WAN).
- Develop and execute strategies for network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization.
- Ensure the security of the network infrastructure through robust firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and regular security audits.
- Lead the Network Operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
- Manage relationships with network vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
- Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Manage the network operations budget effectively.
