Head - Network Operations

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Network Operations to lead our network infrastructure and operations team in India. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our extensive network across all Wipro locations and client engagements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network technologies, operational best practices, and have a proven track record of managing large-scale network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the overall network operations strategy aligned with Wipro's business objectives.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Data Center Networks).
- Manage a team of network engineers and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Ensure high availability, optimal performance, and security of all network services through proactive monitoring, incident management, and problem resolution.
- Lead the planning and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
- Establish and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to network hardware, software, and services.
- Develop and manage the network operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other IT departments (Security, Systems, Applications) to ensure seamless integration and support.
- Drive the adoption of automation and new technologies to enhance network operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the network operations team.
