Job Description

Role Summary: The Head - Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the organization in Guwahati. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of operational efficiency and compliance, particularly within the context of an industry association. The ideal candidate will leverage their M.Pharma background to contribute to the operational aspects of pharmaceutical-related initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure efficient functioning of the Guwahati chapter.
- Manage administrative, financial, and logistical operations of the organization.
- Oversee event planning and execution, including conferences, workshops, and member engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including members, government bodies, and other industry partners.
- Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Contribute to project management and execution of initiatives related to pharmaceutical sciences and public health.
- Prepare operational reports and presentations for senior management.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and cost optimization.
- Maintain accurate records and databases.
