Head - Program / Project

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head - Program / Project to lead and manage complex, strategic programs and projects within our global chemical operations. This role is critical in driving innovation, operational excellence, and achieving key business objectives across various functions and regions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the chemical industry, a proven track record in program management, and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive program and project management strategies aligned with BASF's corporate goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders.
- Manage program budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery within scope and quality.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively developing contingency plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project execution processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and closing of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to project managers and team members.
- Report on program status, key performance indicators, and financial performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
