Head - Quality

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Quality to lead and enhance our quality assurance and control functions for our Gems & Jewellery division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest standards of quality across all aspects of our operations, from raw material sourcing to finished product delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive quality management systems and strategies for the Gems & Jewellery business unit.
- Oversee all quality control processes, including incoming material inspection, in-process quality checks, and final product evaluation.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant industry standards, certifications (e.g., BIS hallmarking), and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, sourcing, and sales teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage supplier quality assurance programs and conduct audits to ensure compliance.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address issues.
- Drive innovation in quality methodologies and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and manage the quality department budget and resources.
- Report on quality performance metrics to senior management.
