Head - R & D

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Research & Development to lead our innovation efforts in the electronics manufacturing sector. This role will be instrumental in driving the development of new products, technologies, and processes to maintain our competitive edge and foster future growth. The Head of R&D will manage a team of engineers and scientists, oversee the entire R&D lifecycle from ideation to commercialization, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive R&D strategy aligned with the company's long-term vision and market trends.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing R&D team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept generation and feasibility studies to prototyping, testing, and validation.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and their potential application in our product portfolio.
• Manage R&D budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to ensure project success.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, manufacturing, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
• Protect intellectual property through patents and other legal mechanisms.
