Head - R & D - LLB Professionals - 3-4 Yrs

We are seeking a dynamic and legally astute individual to join our team as Head - R & D, specializing in regulatory and intellectual property aspects within the beverage sector. This role is crucial for driving innovation while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of research and development processes from a legal perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the R&D legal strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory frameworks in the Indian beverage industry.

Oversee intellectual property management for all new product development, including patent filings, trademark registrations, and protection strategies.

Conduct legal due diligence on new ingredients, packaging materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with FSSAI and other relevant Indian laws.

Advise R&D teams on product labeling, advertising claims, and promotional activities to avoid legal disputes.

Manage regulatory affairs related to product approvals and certifications within India.

Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and industry bodies on R&D related legal matters.

Develop and implement internal policies and training programs to enhance legal compliance within the R&D department.
