Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Head of Shared Services to manage and optimize our shared services functions within the design industry. This role will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services, driving process improvements, and supporting the overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations and a keen eye for operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the shared services center, including finance, HR, and administrative functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality within shared services.
- Manage and mentor a team of shared services professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and provide seamless support through shared services.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the shared services department.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to shared services operations.
