Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Head - Taxation with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team in Nagpur. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of taxation for our organization, ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations, and contributing to strategic tax planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pharmaceutical taxation principles and their application within the agriculture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all direct and indirect tax compliance for the company, including GST, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax efficiency.
- Prepare and file all tax returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Liaise with tax authorities and auditors, responding to inquiries and ensuring smooth resolution of tax matters.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise management on their implications.
- Provide expertise on taxation matters related to pharmaceutical products and their integration into agricultural solutions.
- Assist in tax planning and forecasting for budgeting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
- Review contracts and agreements from a tax perspective.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the finance and taxation team.
