Head - Tour Management

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Tour Management to oversee and execute all aspects of tour operations for our agricultural and forestry-related business units within India. This role will be instrumental in facilitating site visits, stakeholder engagement, and showcasing our innovative practices to international and domestic visitors, including potential investors, partners, and agricultural experts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational, logistical, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in managing complex travel and event itineraries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive tour management strategies aligned with UPL's business objectives in India.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all logistical aspects of tours, including transportation, accommodation, venue bookings, and catering for domestic and international visitors.
- Create detailed itineraries and schedules for various stakeholder groups, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., R&D, Operations, Marketing) and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and engaging content delivery during tours.
- Manage budgets for tour operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Oversee the selection and management of tour guides and support staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Ensure all tours comply with safety regulations, company policies, and local customs.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during tour operations.
- Gather feedback from tour participants to continuously improve the tour experience.
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, hotels, and other service providers to secure favorable rates and services.
- Prepare post-tour reports, including feedback analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
