Job Description
Role Summary: The Head - Training & Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs across all levels of the organization within the Indian food processing division. This role is crucial for enhancing employee skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and aligning training initiatives with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing impactful learning strategies, particularly within a large-scale manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic training and development roadmap aligned with the company's business goals and the specific needs of the food processing operations.
- Identify training needs through various assessment methods, including performance reviews, feedback, and skills gap analysis.
- Design, develop, and deliver a diverse range of training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules covering technical skills, leadership development, compliance, and soft skills.
- Manage the training budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and a strong return on investment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external training providers, and subject matter experts.
- Establish metrics and evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve their impact.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends in learning and development, and relevant regulatory requirements in the food processing sector.
- Lead and mentor the training and development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
