Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Training & Development to lead and manage all aspects of our employee training programs. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our accounting and auditing firm, ensuring our team stays ahead of industry changes and maintains the highest standards of expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives that align with our business objectives and enhance employee performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the firm's strategic goals and the evolving needs of the accounting and auditing industry.
• Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and learning materials for various employee levels, focusing on technical accounting standards, auditing techniques, regulatory updates, and soft skills.
• Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analyses, and consultation with department heads.
• Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback mechanisms, assessments, and impact analysis on performance and business outcomes.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and e-learning technologies.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of a comprehensive learning management system (LMS).
• Foster relationships with external training providers and professional bodies as needed.
• Lead and mentor the training and development team, if applicable.
