Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager - Events

Role Summary:
Wizcraft is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager to oversee and implement comprehensive safety protocols for all live events and entertainment productions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety awareness across all operational teams. This role is critical in preventing accidents, injuries, and property damage, particularly concerning fire and other potential hazards inherent in event management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce robust HSE policies and procedures specific to event environments.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for all event venues and activities, identifying potential fire hazards, structural risks, crowd management issues, and other safety concerns.
- Create and manage detailed emergency response plans, including fire evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and incident reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian safety regulations, fire codes, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of event sites, equipment, and operational procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to event staff, contractors, and volunteers on safety protocols, hazard recognition, and emergency procedures.
- Investigate all safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Liaise with local authorities, emergency services, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.
