Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer - Fire & Injury Prevention

Role Summary: The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs to prevent fire hazards, injuries, and other workplace incidents across Nykaa's operations, including warehouses, fulfillment centers, and corporate offices in India. This role requires a proactive approach to risk assessment and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fire prevention strategies and emergency response plans for all facilities.

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential fire hazards, unsafe practices, and injury risks.

Investigate all fire incidents, injuries, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian safety regulations and standards (e.g., Factories Act, Fire Safety regulations).

Organize and conduct regular safety training programs for employees on fire safety, first aid, and hazard awareness.

Manage the procurement and maintenance of fire safety equipment (extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers) and first-aid supplies.

Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and inspections.
