Hiring: Anti Money Laundering | Chandigarh | 3-4 Yrs

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our Anti Money Laundering (AML) team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust AML policies and procedures within the electronic components and semiconductor industry context in India. You will leverage your advanced research and analytical skills to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of emerging AML trends, typologies, and regulatory changes specific to the semiconductor and electronics sector.
- Develop and enhance AML detection scenarios, transaction monitoring rules, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Investigate suspicious activity reports (SARs) and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and business units to ensure effective implementation of AML controls.
- Provide expert guidance and training on AML regulations and best practices to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform due diligence on high-risk customers and third parties, particularly those involved in complex international supply chains.
- Contribute to the development and execution of AML risk assessments for new products, services, and markets.
- Stay abreast of global AML developments and their implications for Wipro's operations in India.
